As a tea ceremony practitioner, I select matcha with attention to balance, fragrance, and finish—qualities valued not just in taste, but in the quiet ritual of making tea. Whether you're whisking a bowl in stillness or sharing a cup with others, our matcha invites you into a centuries-old practice of mindfulness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this matcha organic?
Yes — Ibu-iro is grown on a historic Kyoto tea farm (founded in the 1700s) that is JAS certified organic in Japan. The matcha is cultivated without pesticides and carefully stone-ground from shade-grown tencha leaves.
Why doesn’t the package carry the organic seal?
The official organic seal requires additional licensing and annual fees. To keep our pricing fair and accessible, we chose not to display the seal. The farming and production, however, fully follow certified organic standards.
How should I use this matcha?
Ibu-iro is best enjoyed in lattes (dairy or plant-based), smoothies, baked goods, and as an accent in desserts or cooking.
How should I store this matcha?
Keep your matcha in a cool, dry place away from light and air. Reseal tightly after opening and enjoy within 2–3 months for the best flavor.
