You will learn how to wear casual kimono such by yourself.

An 8-session beginner course for learning how to dress yourself in kimono.

Wearing kimono can feel complicated at first. There are many layers, ties, small tools, and careful adjustments involved — from preparing the body and setting the collar to tying the obi and creating a clean overall shape.

This course is designed to guide you through the process step by step. Instead of trying to learn everything in one lesson, you will build your skills gradually over eight sessions, with time for practice, correction, and questions.

Each session is 120 minutes, giving enough time to go through the steps slowly, repeat difficult parts, and make small adjustments together.

You will learn how to wear yukata, casual women’s kimono, and Nagoya obi, while also becoming familiar with the small details that make kimono dressing more comfortable, balanced, and beautiful.

All necessary dressing materials can be provided during studio lessons.

If you already have your own kimono set, you are welcome to bring it and practice with your own items. For online lessons, you will need your own kimono items. A material list can be provided before the course starts.
