Komon (Awase) – Tsumugi Silk Blend – Scenic Landscape, Taishō Roman – Black×Bronze – 151.5/63/48.5

✿ Description

An antique Komon in textured tsumugi (silk blend, assumed) with a woven scenic landscape: pavilions, trees, birds, and rolling hills in warm bronze on a black ground. The romantic mood evokes Taishō Roman—a blend of Japanese elegance and early 20th-century Art-Nouveau sensibility. The small, evenly repeated motif covers the cloth in classic komon fashion.

Fully lined (awase) with a white dōura and deep-red hakkake, a bold palette typical of late Taishō to early Shōwa pieces (c. 1920s–40s).
