About Biyori
Biyori began through a long process of learning — studying tea culture, spending extended time in Japan, and building relationships with producers who approach tea with care and integrity.
Our work focuses on matcha that is rooted in place and practice. We collaborate with small producers in Japan and select teas that feel honest and grounded — matcha meant to be lived with, not performed or perfected.
At Biyori, tea is part of daily life. A bowl prepared at home. A seasonal sweet shared with others. A quiet pause shaped by repetition and attention. The matcha we offer reflects this approach, with depth, balance, and umami that unfold slowly.
Wagashi, tea utensils, and workshops are an extension of the same idea. Culture lives through hands-on experience, shared moments, and continued practice — not through spectacle.
In Japanese, biyori describes a day that feels gently balanced.
That is the space we aim to create:
for slowing down, tasting carefully, and reconnecting through small, intentional moments.
